Meet our Team
Niladri founded Quantum 5 because of his passion of working with startups and being a catalyst in their success. His vision for Quantum 5 is to work with Japanese startups to help grow their business, in Japan and overseas.

Niladri is also the founder of Orion Advisors after having a successful career with two of the Big 4 firms in Japan & India. Prior to founding Orion Advisors spent 16 years with EY and KPMG in Japan, advising Japanese and Indian companies on expansion strategies, M&A/JV advisory, fund raising, due diligence, PMI, tax & regulatory, business culture, etc., with a very deep expertise on doing business in India. Prior to that he spent 7 years in EY India.
Niladri was an early pioneer and leader in the development of the Japan India business corridor, combining his deep knowledge of the Indian market with his vast network in Japan and India. Niladri has consistently leveraged his keen understanding of Japan and Japanese business culture to successfully advise Japanese businesses. Niladri has successfully advised companies like NTT Communications, SMFG with their global expansion projects. Niladri’s deep experience in fundraising, M&A and extensive global networks provide extensive value in his role with Quantum 5.

What we do
1. Angel Investing
Leveraging Quantum 5's vast network with Japanese entrepreneurs, VCs and banks, Quantum 5 will identify early stage start ups to make angel investments.
2. Support in raising venture capital

To support start ups in their growth, internationally and in Japan, Quantum 5 will leverage its network with VCs in Japan and internationally and assist in raising funds for the start ups. The funding will be for seed capital and Series A, B and C.
